With the summer on its way once more, we thought it was time to bring you another update from the world of Jap North West. These awesome meets are still held at the Mascrat Manor Pub in Warrington every second Monday of the month, and continue to attract an increasing number of the tidiest Japanese motors from the surrounding areas. A quick warning to anyone wishing to attend though, get there early! It starts at around 7pm and continues on till closing time, but by 8PM the car park is usually full! The atmosphere is always relaxed and friendly, and there's always a vast selection of cars to choose from. This is no 'One genre' meet at all. This month saw Evo's Skylines, RX7's, 200SX', Subaru's, a Toyota Pickup or 2, and even an AE86!
The big hit of the night Was undoubtably Paz's Hachi, drawing a large crowd upon arrival, which hung around for the best part of an hour. but that's the best thing about the meets. Most people are more than happy to answer any questions you might have about their cars. And if it gets cold or wet, you can just nip inside for a drink and some food, and continue the conversation in the dry! I can see 2007 being another great year for the Jap North West meets, so don't miss out, get yourself and your car down there and join in the fun. I promise you won't regret it!
