If you were ever asked what your favourite cult drifting weapon was, the odds are that 2 words would spring to mind, or to be more precise, 2 numbers, "Hachi", and "Roku"...The '8-6'! Over the years the popularity of the AE86 Toyota Corolla has grown and grown, helped along no doubt by it's starring roll in the hit Japanese
 
cartoon series 'Initial D'. Lucky for us that our very own Will has an excellent example for us to feature. Strangely enough, the Corolla wasn't Wills first choice of transportation, he bought it as a run-around whilst he worked on his Retro Skyline. His search started back in early 2004, although at that time he hadn't narrowed
 
his car choices down, and after looking at a few dodgy examples, he finally found this immaculate Hachi on the SXOC forum of all places. It already had an impressive spec, boasting a tasty set of coilovers to help batter him around the local B roads, and a 2 way LSD to further increase his discomfort. But STICKING to the road
 
isn't what this car is about, no, this was built to DRIFT! Should it ever find itself sideways, there's a 6 point roll cage crammed in to both protect the driver and keep the chassis nice and stiff. Engine wise there's healthy breathing courtesy of a HKS 288 inlet cam, whereas the exhaust side hosts a HKS 272 cam..........
