Ever wonder what it feels like to get up at 5am on a Sunday morning? Well let me tell you, DAMN it smarts! But if we were going to get to Donington before track breifing, we were gonna have to get a move on! We all met up at the randezvous point, and loaded up the 'Support vehicle' AKA, Wills Trueno, and then headed off down the A50, hoping that the rain would hold off so the slicks could come out to play on track!

We arrive at 8:00, which gives Ian and Gray some time to prep, whilst Will and myself go and hunt out the Press office so I can sign on. I get myself infield, and at 9am I get the call, the car's ready, the lads are ready, the track's going live! Here we go with what will hopefully be a cracking days track action! The first session starts, and Ian takes it easy for the first few laps to get a feel for the car and the numerous corners

around Donington Parks short circuit. After a couple of laps the car feels good, so he lets it fly and puts in a couple of cracking laps. Soon after in all the excitement an Elise tackles the chicane in front of me with a little too much enthusiasm and the back end decides it's time it became the front end, right as Ian's closing on him from behind fast! With a bit of quick thinking a collision is avoided, but the Pug pulls

into the pits! I wonder to myself what's happened and hope it's just time for a driver change. A couple of minutes later my phone rings, and it's Will. This doesn't look good! "Errrrr we've got some bad news, They've been black flagged for being over the sound limit!" Now at a racing circuit with Jumbo jet from the nearby east Mids airport flying over you'd thing they'd get away with a fairly high dB limit......
